I didn't have any symptoms! That was the kicker. I did have very mild
edema...face in the morning (which my cardiologist says isn't related
to the heart) and ankles at night. I only got a MUGA done because of
the report and because my oncologist thought it would be good to get a
baseline.

TURNS OUT that a MUGA is NOT very accurate. I had an echocardiogram
done and my cardiologist said that it (and some blood tests) were fine
and that I don't have cardiomyopathy. He says that the MUGA scan isn't
accurate because it's read by radiologists and not cardiologists.

Now why didn't any of my doctors (my primary who ordered the echo, my
oncologist who ordered the MUGA, and the cardiologist) tell me that the
first time around?

I can't tell you how relieved I am. My cardiologist does want to repeat
the echo in a year and possibly yearly.
