Hi and that's good news.
I have had the echogram and worn the halter; it always comes out good.
Glad you are ok.

I didn't have any symptoms! That was the kicker. I did have very mild edema...face in the morning (which my cardiologist says isn't related to the heart) and ankles at night. I only got a MUGA done because of the report and because my oncologist thought it would be good to get a baseline.
TURNS OUT that a MUGA is NOT very accurate. I had an echocardiogram done and my cardiologist said that it (and some blood tests) were fine and that I don't have cardiomyopathy. He says that the MUGA scan isn't accurate because it's read by radiologists and not cardiologists.
Now why didn't any of my doctors (my primary who ordered the echo, my oncologist who ordered the MUGA, and the cardiologist) tell me that the first time around?
I can't tell you how relieved I am. My cardiologist does want to repeat the echo in a year and possibly yearly.
