It is not only bone loss that occurs with Gleevec, but also hair loss, dental problems and various manifestations on/in the skin. I understand that the Hem/Onc department at Columbia/Weill/Presbyterian in NYC has done an endocrin study on a good-sized group of Gleevec patients in order to define and quantify exactly these problems. I don't know when they will be publishing but it should be soon.
