I completely concur that there are alternatives to bananas for potassium. I just love bananas, they are available, cheap and easy to eat. Try a mashed banana and peanut butter sandwich.

foods high in potassium.  Bananas get boring.  Cantelope, raspberries,
apricots are great.  1/4 of an avocado is equivalent to a whole banana,
etc.
