Sansy- I guess it effects everyone differently. I have had that shot maybe 3 or 4 times in two years...It just seems to help me immediately. I would ask the Dr if there is another alternative.

Hi everyone,I have a question about the white cell booster shots(neupogen).Doe's anyone know how many or how long you have to take these shots for them to work.Randy has taken 8 shots now.2 a week. His anc is still only 1.0 His RBC is down to 3.90 His anc was .08 so it is coming up slowly. He is on 600mg gleevec.Randy was DX 1 year ago in Aug.Thanks,Randy's wife Sandy
