Hi Anjana& everyone, Well Randy is having his 14TH shot today.He had an appointment yesterday for his fish test results,but it wasn't back yet.Tomorrow I guess! They let him go 4 days with out a shot and his ANC dropped to 0.7. It is now at 1.0.The thing that worries me is this information on Neupogen they gave us.It states,You should not receive Neupogen for the 24 hour period before or following a chemotherapy treatment.If neupogen is given within 24 hours of receiving chemotherapy.there is a risk of increased damage to your neutrophils.Randy is on the 600mg gleevec,Could this be why his anc will not come up? His Dr. in Iowa City said if his fish does not come back 0 he wanted to increase to 800 mg,surely they won't do that until his ANC is under control,do you think?
