Jeanie:
I've also heard that molasses was good for you.....I had just forgotten
about it. (smile) When I was growing up back in Western Ky.. my grand
dad always kept it on hand. There was a place not far from where we
lived that made it & that's where he would buy it. It is very good on
homemade biscuits! (smile) It' sad that there aren't too many around
who make homemade black strap molasses anymore. Course, there isn't to
much "homemade" anything anymore, huh?

I know some will find this "gross", but a good ole' dinner of "Liver &
Onions" is a great source of iron as well as other vitamens. Just have
to be careful as it is also a great sourch for cholesterol as well.
(smile) There's a resturant not far from me that serves this and they
do a great job of cooking it, so I go there and have it often. I have
to eat it out this way.......no one else in my family can stand it or
the smell it leaves in the house (smile!)

Keep Looking Up,
Suzieq
