Pat, I started taking Gleevec in Feb of 2000, I got the rash for about a month to a month in a haft. They dropped me from 4 pills to 3 pill and I have been taking the 3 ever since. The rash went away. I have burred vision and I had cramps in my fingers, hands, feet, shoulder and my left leg so back the tears would pour down my face. About a month ago I started getting nausea and it's just stopped. And I haven't had any kind of cramps for a month. I can't figure that out at all. This summer we moved to Springfield, MO. into a new home. In July and August I did a lot of yard work, and it was very hot here not the same back in Northwest Indiana. I over heated myself quite a few times, I did drink some Gatorade. I started getting nausea after all these years, I was also getting Anxiety attacks because I didn't know what was going on. Went to the Doctor they scoped my from one end to the other, they Ultrasound all my important organs and could not find anything wrong. But the thing that I wonder about is my urine color has gone from a normal yellow like everyone else, but mine is almost clear. And I asked the doctor why, and he said don't worry about it, well I do. I drink the same about of fluids that I did before, my blood work and urine test come back O.K.. I don't know maybe that excess heat that I had back in July and August helped my kidneys out. The way I look at it who knows what this Gleevec can do, I don't think they really don't know themselves yet. One week my left eye will be blurred and my right eye will be perfect. Three weeks later it will be the other way around. I just ordered to different pairs of glassed so that when my eyes change and can change to a different pair of glasses. I can't fig. it out the cramps, I have a 6 speed trans in my car and I would get a cramp in my foot and leg and have to pull off of the road and wait for it to go away so that I could drive again.
