Dear Fran, Lisa is very right. In all the pediatric trials, doses were given to the children based on height and weight. Since his PCR is so low, I am glad that the doctor reduced his dose because that may mean lessening of all the side-effects. CML parents have mentioned in the support groups growth problems on Gleevec for their kids so you are definitely not alone.
If there is too much of the foot pain, talk to his doc and see if testing and X-rays need to be done to see if there is any other problem. Also, give the lowered dose of Gleevec more time and see if the pain goes away. Best Wishes, Anjana caregiver to Roy --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ [CMLHope] A support group of http://cmlhope.com ------------------------------------------------- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CMLHope" group.
