Fran- Our John was Dx October 2004 at age 14. His growth stopped right there at 4'11 1/2" and weight in 70's. Gleevec 400 until raise to 500 about 3 months ago- just received great news from OHSU lab: bcr/abl .001! Endocronologists also say no to growth hormone. More testing coming up. So little info on growth problems available. Seems to be a rare side effect of Gleevec. We did advise Dr. Druker of our problem some time ago, but he is not our MD and he may not have noted the connection.
