I just received a letter from my Medicare Part D provider. Blue Medicare RX and Gleevec is being Taken off of the Formulary. Ouch, YES I AM IN PANIC MODE. I called them and they stated it is not their decision but the Federal Goverment that decided this?? Of course we can request a formual exception from them. My concern is what recourse do we have if they say no.
We have only till Dec 31 to change plans and doubt if would find out before then if our appeal would be approved.
