I have been on Gleevec since 1999. I take potassium pills daily. I also take other medications for side effects---celebrex and aciphex (but not near the time I take my pills and only when needed). My doctor suggested TUMS for the antacid and the calcium. Once again, it cannot be taken with the Gleevec.
