Hi Suzieq,

I have had pain in the same area off and on for a long time.  Last week I
couldn't sleep because of it.  I found that if I walked the pain would go
away, or at least not hurt as bad.  I haven't connected it with the Gleevec
and think it's potassium, but then that's my guess.  I will have to talk it
over with the doctor.  I just went back on the Gleevec after being taken off
about 3 months ago.  I was put on Sprycel, but had to many side effects from
that so am now back on 400 mg. of Gleevec and we'll see how that goes.  I've
been fighting CML for 7 years now and all in all have done fairly well.  I'm
not in remission, but keep trying to get there.  I don't know what else to
say, except that I don't think it's connected with Gleevec, but then, "Who
