Chuck: Welcome to the group. You've found a place where you will be lifted up when you are down........where you will never be "alone".........where you will have your "many" questions answered one way or another..... where you can get help with medical jargon or with locating good oncologists close by........where you will receive a "pat" on the shoulder by those of us who've already gone through what faces you & can help you get through another day. We are sorry that you have to "join" us........not that we don't want you, but that you were dx'ed to begin with.
One thing I have learned throughout my "almost" four year journey with CML & Gleevec, it's great to have a wonderful support system in place. It also helps to have some "humor" & to be positive. CML is not the "death" sentence it once was.........so many new things coming down the pipeline to help us now. Hallelujah!!!! God Bless You & Keep your head up!
