Hi I take Tylenol occasionally for pain.
My PCD told me to take motrin, but with this you are suppose to take it with
food.
Moderation is the key.

Hi Lee,

That is no longer true. Check with your doctor. The reason for the Tylenol
ban was because in one of the early trials a patient died while taking Tylenol
with Gleevec. Both are processed through the liver. They later discovered
that the patient had overdosed on Tylenol, taking 7 grams daily. I use Tylenol
in moderation because I am on a blood thinner (Coumadin) and asprin is a no
no for me.
