The cytogenetic test showed no new clones, and the PCR ratio was .
0007. This was wonderful news, and I feel like this means the FISH
was a false positive. The PCR was done at a lab called ARUP. Is
anyone familiar with this lab? My last PCR at MDACC was .06, and Dr
Cortes has said it is difficult to compare results from labs. The
result is a ratio of BCR-ABL transcripts to G6PDH transcripts (at ARUP
lab). If anyone is familiar with this lab or if you know how to find
a particular lab's baseline, I would love to hear about it. You have
been so helpful during these difficult 3 weeks. Thanks!
