I have had both during the five years since being dx'ed.........as of now...I am taking the 400 mg. capsule that can be broken in twos and I am not having any problems with them. As far as their being any difference.....I don't think so. I think that Gleevec just affects us all in different ways at one time or another and not all of us the same. Some have debilitating effects where others of us have side effects off and on but not severe. As for me.....I've just learned to deal with them as they come. If any were severe, then I would ask my doctor if we could do something different or if there were ways to control what ever the side effect was that was so severe.
