Hello, Thanks Greenie and others who answered my Gleevec question. My husband was diagnosed in Oct. l997, went on Interferion until he started Gleevec in Jan. 2000 at MD Anderson in Houston. He still is on the study with his original doctor (Moshe Talpaz) who is now in Ann Arbor, MI. Just a few weeks ago he was swjitched to the tablets, not capsules. He has blood work done later this week, and I'll let everyone know if there is any difference in his counts. The "no more" BMB sounds pretty good if it's safe...he has had so many over the years.
