Hi Jody....It is devastating to have a child with any disease, but there is lots of hope with CML. There are many drugs out there and other options, so I pray that one will work for him. I'm 69 and have been fighting this for 10 years. I am on one of the new drugs (Tasigna), and so far so good. If one of my children got this disease, I'd probably be very upset. This is a good group to belong to and there are others that have children with it. I'm sure that you will get responses from others going through the same thing that you are. My prayers are with you and your son. As a Mother, I know that you're going through a terrible time, but there is a lot of hope out there.
