Hi Sandra.....I was on Gleevec for a long time and for the most part had muscle cramps in my legs and feet, also in my hands. At times these were very bad. I took pain medication and also would put moist heat on my hands to make them work again. They would actually freeze in odd positions and the pain was terrible. Usually I could get them working again in a few minutes.....sometimes not! I know that this isn't any help, but wanted you to know that you're not alone. Did you talk to your Oncologist about this. Half of the time they're unaware of these side effects. Now I'm on Tasigna, and haven't had any of the cramps since going on that.
