I use to have severe muscle cramps in the calves of my legs in the
night time.......I would want to wake up screaming.......I tired
everything......extra calcium...extra potassium, you name it, I tried
it. A lady at the chiropractor's office even suggested getting some
type of magnesium stuff you mix with warm water at bed time and drink
it.....suppose to help "calm" the muscles. I really didn't care for
it. My doctor told me that it was not a lack of calcium or potassium
but from the Gleevec and she prescribed a low dose of
Flexril.....muscle relaxer...& I haven't been bothered much since. I
still have cramps in my left hand (in the fingers) sometimes that
drives me absolutely nuts. Hard to hold anything. :) :) Would also
get one in the instep of my foot if I stretched out while laying in
the bed......I stopped doing that really quick, :) :) No more
stretching of the feet.....no way!

Strange at how this drug affects us all differently, isn't it?

Love to all & God Bless,
Suzieq
