Hi Susie Q, yes I've had the eyebleeds. Actually just one but it scared me. It cleared up right away and didn't hurt at all. Do you mean your platelets are high. I remember them fondly......even though I'm off gleevec now due to a brain bleed, when I did have the spasms the remedy is quinine, either pills or water, but it works!! Also keep up with the calcium intake, it helps when you can't find quinine. Anyone else ever have any eye bleeds or brain bleed from gleevec? It's my platelets, and I must find an excellent hematologist in the Central Florida area. Anyone know of any? The regular onc/hematologists do not know enough, I need a specialist. Thanks, warriors!
