Hi, When I was on Gleevec I had lots of eye bleeds and now that I'm on Tasigna, I don't have them. My doctors were concerned and I had my eye doctor check them all of the time. I was on as much as 800 mg. of Gleevec, so I did have lots, but not as many as you had, Virginia. I'm thankful I'm not getting them any longer. These side effects are not fun, but, as I told my husband a few minutes ago, what are our choices? We put up with whatever they are, and try to handle them. Not much else we can do. I feel lucky that I haven't had more on Tasigna...very fortunate. I have had eye bleeds for years. For me they seem to come in clusters. One time I had 4-5 in one month. I remember one time I had two in two days. Right now I can't remember how long it's been since I've had one--a long time for sure. Maybe a year or more. There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason to it. My ophthalmologist says not to worry.
