Hi Michael....I had similar effects while on Gleevec. I had a prescription for something that helped at the time, but can't think of the name. I called it industrial strength Imodium :>)......I also avoided anything with tomatoes in it as they seemed to trigger a bad reaction. I had it the whole time I was on Gleevec. I'm now on Tasigna, as Gleevec stopped working, and have the opposite problem. We have to deal with these side effects, and some are much worse. Hang in there and watch your diet and see what triggers these episodes the most.
