Thank you, Daniel. You stated my views very well. What people fail to think about is how desperate the poor will become as this "recession" continues. There are NO jobs in my state, Ohio. My husband worked 3 months this year. What are we going to do when our COBRA runs out? Moving is not an option. We can't sell our house for what is owed on it at this point. People are stealing the catalytic converters off of cars right in owners driveways to cash in on the platinum. Homes are burgarlized. People are mugged. My husband's father is a judge and he had to put an elderly couple in jail for stealing food. It broke his heart. Coporations whittle down their workforce in order to increase their profit line, hospitals give pitiful care due to "downsizing." Something has to give! So don't believe in "redistribution." Why should the rich pay taxes instead of hiding their money in offshore accounts and utilizing shady loopholes? I'm glad I live in a shabby 600 sq. ft. cottage. At least I don't have to worry about being robbed!!!
