My husband, George, who had awful reaction to Gleevec for 2.5 years, was taken off Gleevec for 6 months and saw the onc only once during that time. When he went on Sprycel our Rx plan would only give him 70mg tablets, so the onc put him on 1 per day and made an appt for 3 months later. During that time he had no problems, and when he went back his blood work was again negative. He is now on 50 mg 2x daily and he tells us that you should take them together rather than apart.
Sprycel is sooooo much better that Gleevec for him, that it was a blessing. Tanya On Mar 7, 2010, at 7:44 AM, [email protected] wrote: > Hello everyone, I hope this finds everyone well.
