My hairdresser has been doing my hair for about 12 years. She laughs to see my poker straight hair getting curlier every year, and she knows I have not had a perm. Same thing: My hair frizzes up in dampness. I have found the product by John Frieda, Frizz-Ease, to be very effective in working with my hair. Angie-in-Canada

Since being on Gleevec since 2/'04, I now have naturally curly hair and friz when it is high humidity or rainy. I've had people ask me if I had a perm. LOL!!! The last time I had a perm was April in 2003 and it caused awful damage to my hair, I decided no more perms for me. My hair was always "stick" straight. Maybe a little natural body, but that was it. Not any more. It took about a year or two on Gleevec, then the curly look happened. LOL!!! I just wash, put in some of the "friz" product to help with that & let it dry naturally. Pretty much it. I do have color put on about every six weeks & have trims, that's pretty much it. I think of all the money I spent in the past on perms to get what I have today.....& just smile & say "Thanks Gleevec" Suzieq -- [CMLHope] A support group of http://cmlhope.com ------------------------------------------------- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "CMLHope" group.
