Well, as ya'll know, I've been on Gleevec (400) since Feb. '04 and have pretty much experienced every side effect it produces at one time or another. Just recently something new has began to happen and was just wondering if any body else experienced this with the Gleevec. My nail tech noticed that my nails are beginning to "lift" from the bed, so she gave me some strong medicine stuff to doctor them twice daily. She says she is pretty sure it's from my "medicine". I've not had this happen before, even when I wore acrylics for ten to twelve years. Nails have been "naked" (no fake ones) for past two years and I worked on getting them healthy & did good with that, but now she noticed this beginning to happen. I see my onc./hem. next Monday, so will tell her about it. Let me know if you've had this to happen or anything else with your nails.
