My doctor & I discussed it a while back.  If my BCR-ABL keeps coming
back "none detected", she said it's a possibility if I wanted to.  I
discussed it with my husband, & the only thing that concerned us was
if I did,  & then went back on the Gleevec, would the insurance pick
back up and pay for it as they've been doing since I started it in
Feb. '04.  I guess that would be something we would have to discuss
with the insurance......& maybe get it in writing or something just to
be sure.  :):)   I have heard and even read somewhere where these
insurance companies have people on staff who's job is look over
contracts and see if they can find any loophole where it can be
canceled.  I wouldn't want to do anything that would give them that
"edge".......:)
