Dear Kelly, I am really flattered by you wanting to have a tattoo of 18's on your foot. WOW that blew me away!
Before I continue I would like to say that nothing you say can or do will ever offend me. So, with that said let's get this journey of yours going. In Hebrew the word CHI (it is spoken as if you were clearing your throat) means life and is represented by the numbers 18. As far as any religion is concerned, I respect all religions, and here is just one reason. When I was going through my bone marrow transplant more then 22 years ago I had to live in a small plastic bubble called a Laminous Air Flow Chamber. It was six feet by nine feet and I was in there for many months. No bathroom. No shower. No running water. No toilet but rather a potty with plastic bags. There would be people that were allowed into the "clean room" that my bubble was within but no one could enter that LAF but rather stand on the outside in that clean room but they all had to be surgically gowned up. Who would stand outside and say prayers for me? There were Rabbis, Priests, Nun's Ministers and a lot of others sometimes standing side by side all saying healing prayers for me. Kelly maybe this disease has opened up my eyes, especially for others that may be going through this nightmare. I really feel in my heart that GOD has put and kept me here for a reason. There is also another Hebrew word that I would like to teach you, and it is Bashert, which means Meant to be. In a sense we are all Bashert, but it is how we live our lives that makes all of us Bashert. If we are kind to each other then that is Bashert but if we are unkind then there is a saying, what we sow so shall we reap. And Kelly I don't find you weird in any way but just inquisitive, and there is nothing wrong with wanting to know different things. Stay in touch. 18's Marty On Sun, Oct 16, 2011 at 1:21 AM, kellyelise <[email protected]> wrote: > Marty, > > Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your wonderful words and > support.
