Hi all, I love St Augustine also. My hubby and I celebrated our anniversaries there every year. We camped in the Anastasia Camp ground also and stayed at various inns in the area. The used to have a lot of antique stores there; do they still have them? We always went to the fort, Ripley's Believe it or Not, and all the attractions. I'm going back as soon as it cools down here. Dear Marty, Glad you were able to go to Temple today and thank you for your healing prayers. I believe in prayers and keep each and everyone of you in mine daily. It's cool here today, and Fall is here. I love it the best of all of the seasons, but it's just to short. It does put me in the mood to do a lot of things like sewing, embroidering, crocheting, knitting, etc. I take on to much at times (most of the time), but it makes me happy and keeps my mind off of other things. I had a Doctor (he passed away) that told me that this was my therapy. He loved to fly fish, and wanted to teach me how to tie flies (or whatever they are) and he could use them when he fished. It is very tedious work and that's what I love to do. He never got around to it and passed away a few years ago from Cancer. He was in his 60's. We never know and that's why we have to be glad for each day we have, and live it like it's our last day. I'm so glad that you have your daughter to drive back and forth with you and your wife. It's a lot of work packing etc. but, hopefully, you can do it next year and each year after that for a long time. Today is my husbands 84th Birthday. His health is a lot better then mine and is still able to drive and get around. I worry though as he forgets a lot of things. He only drives around here as he'd get lost if he got 20 miles away. :>)..I still do most of the driving, but then I'm still a kid at 74 years young. Having such a good son has really helped us out a lot as he does all of the yard work, and also a lot around the house. You have a great day, and also a safe trip back to Florida. I'll be thinking of you the day you leave , as you will be passing close to where I am. Please let us know when you get home. I do love the St. Augustine area. My father lived in Melbourne after he retired. That's a nice area too. You're always in my thoughts and prayers. Let me know if there's any progress on getting a transplant.
