greeings fellow cml warriors,

Haven't updated for while. I just got out of the hospital aftr a nine day
stay. Much to long eating hopsital food. No more broth and green jello for
me!!!. What started out as a simple stomach ache quickly turned worse.
I ended up calling 911 as I am alone and couldn't drive safely. I had
something I never heard of c-dif from an antiobiotic. Takes all the good
bacteria out of stomach and the bad takes over. NASTY stuff. I told drs all
the iv liquid would go around my lungs. I wish drs would listen to someone
when we know our bodies. Had to have lungs tapped three days in a row. They
took out 3 1/2 liters. It is back within a week. Gets discouraging.
Went to pulmonary dr on Tues. Water seems to be stable for now. I was
surpirsed it was back that much as I feel better than I have felt in a long
time. Am able to clean whole house without stopping to sit down. I can walk
about 6 blocks at a pretty quick pace. Dr. is holding off changine drugs just
yet which is fine with me. although this last blood work showed a .oo2 cml
indication. Dr felt it was because of the c-dif that my body wasn't absorbing
Sprycel. It is such a tiny amount but it just reminds me that I still have it.
Hopefully next months blook check will be undectable. If not it is ok the
Lord is in control.
