And Wayne and I wish you all a very happy new year and enjoy the best health we can. Wayne is due to go to see Dr Talpaz the middle of Jan to see what comes next for him. He was taken off Sprycel about 3 months ago when he had an episode of plural effusion. They put him on prednisone for about 3 weeks which totally messed up his diabetes and blood pressure as well as the warfarin he is on for afib. The good thing is he had no arthritis pain while on prednisone. He was to have an echo cardiogram last Fri but we BOTH came down with the stomach flu and had to cancel. With the holiday, I will have to call Monday and reschedule. Just an update from southern Illinois.
