Jeanie, Thanks for the definition..definitely the flu then because I couldn't get out of bed/ couch for several days...slowly on the mend...gosh Jeanie, you are going through so much......can I just say it's miserable, crappy, horrible yucky, scary.... while we need to stay positive, and support our bodies to heal in all the ways we can...sometimes it's important to acknowledge how hard the path can sometimes be..yours right now feels mighty up hill.....but I really believe in you and your spirit. Along with these meds and good docs at Moffit. Dr. Fernandez and his team saved my best friend's life a year and a half ago with a bone marrow transplant. I got to meet him when I was down there helping to take care of her. Nice man...
Anyway...the point I am trying to make is that it's O.K. for us to acknowledge that we are scared ...really scared sometimes.....us warriors are human too :) I think sometimes it helps to say those things too. Those emotions are welcome here too. I know I am more scared these days...I try to let fear be my companion and not my guide. Sorry you have to go to Moffit every three days... While you are there, do you ever stop in at their center for healing arts/spiritual place..it's a beautiful room, with lots of oregami..books, art stuff to paint or create things you can take home with you...I painted a piece of paper and they showed me how to make it into an oregami heart and I attached a special paper healing bead to it...I am looking at it right now....would you enjoy a visit to that room? as long as you are there???
