Well, I try to give them both, and I certainly do understand that they tend
to differ. Again, this is not a black and white issue, as the crux of each
situation is the personalities involved. There are times that you need to
jump up and down and insist on making changes, and other times when you need
to realize that it might be futile. The name of the game is setting
expectations. If you know that the proposed solution will simply not work in
practice, put it in writing.

This depends on the client. Some clients are very open to making changes
within their organization, while others simply want a tool to facilitate the
existing process. Neither way is wrong, IMHO.
