Personally, I've used ezPublish and PostNuke but TYPO3 won hands down because it was the most sophisticated. The only warning I have is if you are looking for an easy-to-drop in CMS (and easy is a relative term), TYPO3 had the steepest learning curve. It is not the easiest system to set up for portals, but it contained the "features" I needed that the others did not. If you choose to learn everything about TYPO3, it's worth it. :-)
Could you explain what specifically it offered that the others didn't?
