>Management System'

You might try searching for "Learning Management System"; that seems to be a fairly
consistently used term by vendors providing the types of products/services/solutions
you mention. Macromedia is an obvious candidate, given it's Authorware product, but,
to my knowledge, it provides the framework for developing one's own LMS, they don't
offer one out-of-the-box.

www.brandon-hall.com is a consultancy that focuses on online training. They provide a
pretty useful amount of information free on their site, but the really useful reports
will cost you. They are about to publish a review of 24 products they categorize as
"Enterprise Learning Content Management Systems".
