That is false. Email address in the bodies of messages -- such as in the
attribution of quotes, as above -- are not obfuscated.

I read the FAQ.  It claims "we strip out, scramble, or lightly obfuscate
all email addresses from message headers and bodies".  That is, in fact,
false -- either faudulent or erroneous.  My email address appears in
full at the bottom of my posts as they appear on that site.

This is also false.  Mail-archive.com helpfully provides means for third
parties to subscribe email lists to which they have no administrative
authority, without notification to the list administrators.
