All manuals have their quirks. Whereas Alan Turing noted that the proof of the 
correctness of a computation is more
laborious than the computation, it's easier to code than to explain
code in a manual. I'm just learning the quirks of the docs, and making good 
progress, with all the fine help I get on
this discussion group.
