Needed to front-end each command and remap PFKs and synonyms when I switched members. Worked nicely for a while, but as the frontier was tamed by new CMS releases it broke and I didn't pursue fixing it. (effort better directed to OMVS with real concurrency support.)
But I wished all along that IBM had designed all the XEDIT-based tools to operate in a single ring. -- gil
