I would like them blocked too. And if we can add a auto-unsubscribe for
those who neglect to turn off their subscriptions when they are out of
the office, I'd be even happier. They can always resubscribe when they
are back in the office.

To answer my own question, I am not sure whether it is easily doable or
ultimately desirable. But they are annoying - in their frequency and
self-righteousness, they are becoming a form of spam in their own right :)
