I'm curious as to whether anyone has thought about extending CLX to handle all the new nifty X protocol extensions for X11R6? Some of them would be very useful...
Also, how is CMUCL's CLX going to be synchronized with the CLOCC version? Since the CLOCC version uses PORT I don't see it being possible to literally copy the CLOCC CLX over the CMUCL sources. But I'd rather use CLX without the CLOCC PORT stuff, if I can get away with it... I'm curious about this because I'm thinking of extending various parts of CLX to bring it up to a more modern X protocol interface and would like to see these hacks be fed back into the distribution, but it'd be a PITA to have to maintain them for multiple flavors of the same code. So what's the plan here? 'james -- James A. Crippen <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> ,-./-.
