Oh good.  That's one of the reasons I didn't want to use it.  I guess
it's fine in the interests of portability, but this *is* X we're
talking about, one of the chattiest protocols known to existence.

Speaking of that, do either of Xanalys or Franz make their versions of
CLX available?  You might want to ask them...  It's not as if CLX is a
particularly saleable commodity.
