Yeah, the keybindings in emacs are pretty horrible. Hopefully McCLIM
will adopt my logical-gestures proposal and then we can use modal
editing without worrying about how extensions will integrate their
keybindings (since they will actually be specified in terms of logical
gestures which can be bound however the user likes).
