Hello all,
Sorry to ask for help again so soon, but I've hit another one. While attempting to
evaluate a lisp expression in Hemlock I've run into trouble. Initially it informed me
that it couldn't find cmucl on my path. I linked lisp(the command I've been using to
get into cmucl) to cmucl on my path. Tried again, it locked with "Spawning slave ...
" for approximately 5 minutes, then came back with "Client Lisp is still unconnected.
You must use "Accept Slave Connections" to allow the slave to connect at this point.".
I attempted to start cmucl in slave mode with:
lisp -slave victor.netgremlins.com:11779
cmucl responed with the message:
Warning:
#<Command Line Switch "slave" -- ("victor.netgremlins.com:11779)> is an illegal
switch
It also responds similarly when using the "edit". It seems to be ok with the other
switches though. Thank you in advance for any effort spent looking into this.
-Frank
