Danny, you think you felt ill? There was serious discussion of scuttling ;)
It's amazing what people think is passable. Honestly, though, you couldn't
tell a repair had been there. It looked like they had repainted an area
when they replaced the head hatch. They did a pretty good job of fairing,
just not structure!

I'm glad that project is over, and the deck layout is so much friendlier
now. Turned out really nice.

Composites work is what we do. I wish we had our big new shop back when
that job was done, it would have been much more tolerable!

Chris,

I felt a little ill when I saw those photos of your deck opened up! I
cannot believe someone would go through the task of opening a deck and
putting back together like that!!! It had to be more work than what doing
it properly would have been! Pure ignorance, he knew no better. Could you
tell there had been a repair done there?

Beautiful work by the way!

Danny

Hi Bill -

That is correct. There's some pictures here, but they aren't very close up.
I'll look to see if I have any more close up.

Is this correct? I need to remount it on the deck. Two block atop each
other go forward.moveable car bumper to stern. Line arrangement: tie line to
forward eye on car, then around top block, then around thimble on car, then
around lower block forward, then line to deck V-cleat? The aft thimble on
the car is not used. Correct?

Ps: anyone w picture?
