The screws on the front are what you need to remove. They are long and usually don't fall out. They may even be captive. I've never dropped one, but there's always a first time. Unscrew them and then pull the lens away as a unit (with the stainless shield). Watch out and don't let the gasket fall overboard though. The gasket may be loose.
