You are far more likely to get better information in lists such as this
one. After you have followed the list for a while you get to know the
regulars and their biases, and levels of experience. Once you know a
little about them, you can sift through their comments and find the
answers to your questions. No one here tests ablative bottom paint by
leaving a sample on a piece of submerged fiberglass that never moves
more than a few inches during the multi-year test. We also don't rate
two competing anchors based on how one holds in sand, and the other
holds in sticky mud. :-)
