Steve,

Even though the draw is minimal and I am dockside I did not connect it. Not
sure I can articulate a good reason why.
The only downside for me is the colors of the display keep changing.  I
plug my iPhone into the stereo and run Pandora.  The FM reception in my
marina sucks, so losing the presets is not a big deal.
