We had a pair of the Walmart deep cycle 27 batteries (because of the price) and used them for 2 seasons.....gave them to Wayne to use in the club's boats which might have a chance to keep them 'in charge' .

Have had the Group 27's deep cycle GNB's from Maritime Battery in Burnside ever since......from memory maybe $120 per battery....batteries weigh 55 lbs. each......compare $ to weight with the competition....and MB are super when it comes to warranty.....or in my case, when I do something stupid like let the electrolyte get low.
